Helloooo everyone,

This week was AMAZING! Last wednesday I had my Farewell Party with my friends, it was so much fun!
We sat by the pool (or swam like some crazy peopledid, haha), played games, danced together on the music, sang along with the songs and melted marshmallows by the fire. Ohh and some of us were crazy enough to go swimming in the rain atmidnight, haha.I had an amazing and unforgettable night!

Last ThursdayI hadanothervaccination and on FridayI visited my Dutch school for the last time in 2015. That´s crazy! haha

Yesterday I had another Farewell party! It was fun catching up, explaining what exactly I'm going to do this year and to hear what everyone else is planning to do this summer. You awesome people have some amazing plans too! I can't wait to hear your stories, even though they will have to wait until January 2016.

Everyone is so excited for me, it makes me happy.

Today I visited the AmericanConsulate in Amsterdam to get my Visa in order. It was a very secured building, with bars in front of the window, a fence around the building and a lot of security camera's.I had to pass two security checks and wait in a room with a lot of other people. Iwas leaning against the wall, because I had already spent some time sitting in the car, but soon I wasasked to take a seat (so that everyone was facing the same wall). After a while it was my turn to come to the counter and hand in my passport and paperwork. After that, Ihad to wait for myinterview for at least another hour. When I finally had my'interview', it was done in less than 2 minutes. Okay, I sound very negative right now. I mean yeah it was bad having to wait so long, but it was nice to have this experience and besides, I wasn't the only person in the room, soI was able to hear what other people are planning to do in America. There was another girl who is also going to High School this year, and a different girl will be attending acollege in Michigan.

When everything with the Visa was settled, I had lunch with my mom, who hadn't beenallowed to go inside the building with me and had been waiting quite a long time haha.
My mom and I had a BLT sandwich, it was so GOOD, but when someone next to me ordered a piece ofapple pie (it looked good, it looked so good) we ordered one too and shared it. It tasted exactly the way it looked, delicious!

I want to end this blog post by thanking everyone again for the gifts and having a great Farewell party with me! :)

It felt weird saying goodbye to friends and family, especially when someonealready wished me a nice Christmas and a happy New Year.
